Quality Healthcare Unit
QHU is a community clinic at Nkolbison, on the outskirts of Yaoundé. It serves surrounding communities that do not have quick access to the city’s major hospitals, and it pairs clinical care with family health education and outreach.
Mission
The mission of the Quality Healthcare Unit is to provide primary healthcare to people in the community regardless of their ability to pay.
The clinic executes the clinical side of the Shemka Foundation’s mission. Foundation healthcare projects are delivered through QHU, and the clinic’s own services are strengthened by that partnership.
